Description:
• Parallels, a leading provider of hosting automation and virtualization software, is looking for a highly motivated program manager to design the next version of Parallels Automation.
• Parallels Automation is a complete IT infrastructure management solution for service providers, telecommunication companies and enterprises. Parallels Automation was designed from the ground up to address requirements of SaaS and cloud computing paradigms, such as complete operations automation, delegated administration and self-service.
• Parallels Automation product line consists of
o Parallels Virtual Automation – management of virtual and physical servers
o Parallels Operations Automation – management of internet hosting and application hosting services
o Parallels Business Automation – management of business processes such as resource accounting, invoicing and billing.
Responsibilities:
• Working with Parallels partners and customers as well as sales and support teams to gather customer requirements for Parallels Automation products and components
• Creating requirements specifications for Parallels Automation products and components
• Driving implementation and release of Parallels Automation product and components
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or electronic engineering. Master degree is a plus
• 5 or more years of experience
• Excellent skills in analyzing and formalizing requirements for software products
• Experience with the enterprise management and automation products and related technologies
• Experience and hands-on knowledge of Web Services/SOA
• Experience with unit testing and SCRUM methodology
• Proven success record in designing and shipping software products and technologies
• Excellent written and good conversational English is a must
