I had the same problem a month ago: there was a position in Moscow (GUI, big company, huge opportunities), but GUI.
I went on interview and got an offer.
After that I had a day on reflection: what opportunities the position may give to me.
And I decided to refuse the offer.
After a week or so a new position was opened at that company.
Conditions were the same, but work was much interesting for me.
I think that first offer at the company helped me to get second position much faster.
And now I am very happy =)
I found a very powerful idea, that I am going to apply it in all my life: when both offers are not good enough, I SHOULD skip ALL of them and continue to search.
In the beginning it may scary a little bit, the only way to fight a fear is going against it =)
